Torei now has a Discord server.
I went and set up a Discord server for #Toreans (https://www.deviantart.com/toreans) to replace the old 1990s-style IRC setup we used to have. With luck this should be much easier for everyone to use!

Torei RPG Update
The folks over at http://game-icons.net released versions of their vector icons that were easier to style, so I updated the copy of bootstrap I had used to make the thing and freshened up the look a bit. Unfortunately, asstr.org recently added some security measures that break images in data: urls, and one of my goals had been that this document should be a single HTML file with everything you need (fonts, images, css, javascript, etc). The tool I'm using does this via data: urls, so I needed new hosting.
So I figured this document is pretty tame (leave the risqué stuff up to the GM and players, eh?) and put a copy up on my github pag
A surprise, and thank you!
I want to thank whichever anonymous donor gave me 3 months of premium membership. I will endeavor to post more fiction to make best use of this. Many thanks!
Torei RPG

I've been tinkering with a set of rules for a dice-and-character-sheets role-playing game set on Torei for a couple of years now. Well I finally got my act together and produced a web page that explains the rules. It's currently a draft, but I feel that it's got enough to start playing right now!
It mostly needs the bits about NPC generation written and the example character fixed up. Beyond that, I need to know what you think of it!
The document's development is hosted at github so you can make a quick edit and submit that to me as a pull request, or file

This may be a stupid question. But why couldn't you use websites for role playing like roll20.net?
