I wrote this in email to a year or so ago, and only just now decided to polish it up a bit and publish. I was still early in my conception of Torei, and originally my plan was to have a story where a woman in near-future Earth implants a chip that was in a Japanese woman for a year.

The idea was that it would get a sort of sympathetic resonance from her language centers, and then bestow that same sort of tuning-fork ring of thought to the next wearer. I planned to have the Japanese woman's dark sexual fantasies play out in the other woman's dreams, and finally she ends up thoroughly kinky.

I think the Torei stuff in this is a bit of a throwaway line or two, but if someone finds it intriguing it could be the basis for an interesting story.
